Hi Guys,
I was asked to post some size references near the objects, so you could see the resolution.
I didn't realize this before as I can see the objects, but I imagine that is quite hard to evaluate the quality and resolution without a reference...
So here we go.... high resolution pics
Regards,
Junior

About the Project
I have been dreaming about having a 3D Printer at home for many years, but the ones with good quality are not affordable and the low costs just deliver poor quality. Sounds crazy but I decided to build a high resolution 3D Printer by myself at home (people actually said that I was crazy and this was impossible). The funny thing I never saw this type of machines in real life, and still haven’t seen one besides the one I built.
Now that I succeed building the first prototype, the target is to bring this low cost 3D Printer to every home, so we are developing the first affordable one with high resolution.
I hope you enjoy our blog, follow us and you can have this printer in your home soon.
In a previous post there were several questions about an available kit. Can you post a link if that kit is available.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Incredible. Do you think there might be a way to scale it up so that the same system could be used to create objects of a larger size but with reduced resolution? I.e. move the projector further away from the 'casting tray' but let it cure for longer for each 'step'.
ReplyDeleteOk, holy sh@t that´s what I call detail!
ReplyDeleteHURRY UP, MAN, i WANT MY PRINTER ;-)
keep on the good job
ReplyDeletei really need a 3d printer for high detail model
BTW i think you need a better camera
I think you should stop your camera down a quite a few stops and use a tripod (I think you used a Tripod). Expect a longish exposure to get a deep depth of field.
ReplyDeleteThis is now a must have let us KNOW ASAP what your sales plans are.
I want my printer, please hurry.
ReplyDeleteCongrats man you are a genius
Looks great! Have you done any tests with larger models yet?
ReplyDeleteHi Junior!
ReplyDeleteLove what I've seen so far!
May I ask how long it took to print the sphere?
I'm going to be buying a 3D printer/kit soon, and will definitely keep up with your work. Hopefully it will be in my price range! Good luck depositing the patent, I think you have a great product here!
Best,
Jeff

Take the time to print long runs.
ReplyDeleteyou use rasin+diamine?
ReplyDeletevery nice, are the resin materials safe for the environment? will they degrade with time, what are they made of?
ReplyDeleteDo You use a Tilt-Axis or is there a way to print without the Tilt-Action to dissolve the print from the Glas+Silicone ground?
ReplyDeleteVery glad to see the photos, a couple of questions:
ReplyDelete1. the last photo: there are tiny scratches on the surface, is there any way to do to achieve a much smoother surface or the resin(lost-wax type) can be modified after?
2. a rough price range?
Thank you!
That sphere looks fantastic.
ReplyDeletePôe isto a funcionar, que vai logo uma notícia para o meu Blog...
