Cross Platform 3d Printer Software



Hi Guys,

Sorry, I have been quite busy these days... but got lot of progress on software development now that we have PH (Pedro Henrique) full time working on that.

The software is cross platform and I will provide some screen shots soon.

    That looks pretty good. What tool kit are you using?

    I don't see a link to the source. Is this an open source project?

    I am thinking this will take a while to build and there are a number of people who would like to get started. Any chance you could release some information to get started without releasing any of the intellectual property you are patenting. (E.G. frame, power supply, carriage) Maybe between the followers you can get assistance by posting and assigning tasks that would build the documentation for the construction and operation.

    Hello, sorry but your old post I read that you used a video projector dpl, why did you choose that type and not an LCD which costs less and is more of dpl affidabile.so that the lamps have a short life. Because of higher contrast?.

    Olá,
    fiz alguns testes bacanas com meu projetor dlp, o unico problema é justamente fatiar os modelos feitos no SolidWorks para usa-los no gerador de imagens do PowerPoint. Vejo que desenvolveu um bom software, estou disposto a compra-lo imediatamente... entre em contato se possível, samskirs@msn.com

About the Project


I have been dreaming about having a 3D Printer at home for many years, but the ones with good quality are not affordable and the low costs just deliver poor quality. Sounds crazy but I decided to build a high resolution 3D Printer by myself at home (people actually said that I was crazy and this was impossible). The funny thing I never saw this type of machines in real life, and still haven’t seen one besides the one I built.

Now that I succeed building the first prototype, the target is to bring this low cost 3D Printer to every home, so we are developing the first affordable one with high resolution.
